In every area of ANZ that I have worked, I have been accepted and included. Never once have I felt that my sexuality has impeded my ability to perform my role or inhibited my career advancement.

Since I joined ANZ in 2008, I have seen support and public acceptance of LGBTI employees and customers grow. Our network has enabled me to meet new people from the LGBTI community both internally and externally.

I am very proud to work for ANZ and the opportunities provided to me as a member of ANZ Pride Network. Through the support and encouragement of my colleagues and management I’ve had the opportunity to dedicate much of my time to promoting LGBTI workplace inclusion. I’ve been recognised by Pride in Diversity as Out Role Model at the 2017 Australian Workplace Equality Index awards; this recognition means a lot to me and would have been possible without the support from ANZ.
